Splitting is a little tool that allows you to split your files into different parts and then, later, merge them back together using the same program.
By default it has a few different file sizes which include: a 3'5 disk, a 100MB ZIP file, a 650MB CD and a 700MB CD.
You can define your own file sizes, but you have to do so using bytes. You have to remember that 1KB is the same as 1024 bytes and that 1MB is the same as 1024 KB, which is the same as 1048576 bytes.
Anyway, if you hover your mouse over the number that you've typed, the program will show you the equivalent in KB or MB.
Another interesting feature of Splitting is that it integrates with the Windows shell, so if you want to divide a file into various parts you just have to right-click on it and choose the option Send to->Splitting.
